Dear Valued Readers,
The Dow took a dip to 25,743.46 since our last newsletter and it rebounded again. Currently sitting at about 27,060. We are definitely in a wedge pattern and it looks like the 27,398.68 high could be taken out soon.
This past week Gold tested $1477 a couple times and is now creeping back up. Currently $1492. There has to be some solid movement to break the $1546 highs, momentum needs to continue. Junior mining exploration companies needing to finance are looking for higher prices.
Most financings in the sector are being led by Eric Sprott. From a July article on mining.com:
"The Canadian billionaire investor – also a pioneer in the gold-backed ETF industry – has splashed more than C$139 million on 16 gold and silver explorers (and some nickel on the side) since May, according to junior mining finance authority Oreninc. $127m of the total found its way to Canada-domiciled companies."
When I see a company that has Eric participating in it, I take notice.
Global uncertainty, trade wars, Brex-It, Turkey/Syria, there is plenty of headlines that will push gold higher in my opinion.
The Canadian election is next Monday. It doesn't look that great, looks like a minority Government which means not much may get done. According to polls, there is less than a 10% chance a majority happens. Monday should be an interesting night.

Editorial Comments:
Auryn Resources ( AUG TSX-Venture ) [ Auryn Web Site ] [ I own some of it, I do not work for them. ] Auryn Resources continues to put out news, visit their web site for the full News Releases. What I find interesting is that Auryn continues to acquire more land in Peru. I think they believe there is an elephant (massive deposit) to be found and they will find it. It looks like their Peruvian drilling permits are coming in 2020, and drilling will happen in the first quarter.
Oct 16: Auryn Stakes Additional Highly Prospective Claims at Sombrero and Provides Permitting Update
VANCOUVER, BC / October 17, 2019 / Auryn Resources Inc. (TSX:AUG) (NYSE American:AUG) ("Auryn" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has staked 8,500 hectares of additional ground at the Sombrero North project area (Figure 1). The newly acquired claims, Macha Machay, contain the highest copper values in stream sediments observed through Auryn's regional exploration program, which screened approximately 7,000 square kilometers of land on the western extension of the world-class Andahuaylas-Yauri belt.
Macha Machay is characterized by highly elevated copper values in consecutive drainage basins over an area of approximately 12 kilometers by 6 kilometers (Figure 2). Both leachable (CN44) and ICP results demonstrate copper levels 1.5-3.5 times greater than those observed at the Sombrero Main, Nioc and Good Lucky intrusive clusters, which are all characterized by high-grade copper-gold surface mineralization (Figures 2 & 3). In addition, the leachable gold results at Macha Machay are similar in magnitude to those observed at the Sombrero Main and Nioc prospects (Figure 4). Together, the copper and gold results in stream sediments suggest the potential to discover significant copper-gold mineralization at or near surface.

October 8th: Auryn Commences Work on Curibaya in Southern Peru
From the news:
"VANCOUVER, BC / October 9, 2019 / Auryn Resources Inc. (TSX:AUG)(NYSE American:AUG) ("Auryn" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has commenced work on its 100% owned Curibaya project located in the Tacna province in Southern Peru (Figure 1).
The Company is currently upgrading existing road access into the project and plans to conduct geological and alteration mapping as well as a rock sampling program in order to define the epithermal and porphyry styles of mineralization that have been outlined by historical work. This program will concentrate on the newly acquired Sambalay and Salvador concessions, where historical sampling included up to 13.5% copper, 23.6 g/t gold and 14,180 g/t silver in a 2-kilometer by 3.3-kilometer quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration system (Figure 2)."

Sept 30th: Auryn Samples High-Grade Silver from Newly Discovered High Sulphidation System at Sombrero
From the news:
"VANCOUVER, CANADA / ACCESSWIRE / September 30, 2019 / Auryn Resources Inc. (TSX:AUG)(NYSE American:AUG) ("Auryn" or the "Company") is pleased to announce results of up to 981 g/t silver discovered through a rock sampling program within the southern portion of the Sombrero district in Southern Peru. This was the Company's first exploration program at the Ccello project, which is defined by a 2-kilometer-by-1.5-kilometer high sulphidation alteration system (Figures 1 & 2).
A first-pass reconnaissance consisting of mapping and sampling was conducted at Ccello to follow up on anomalous stream sediment samples. This yielded a previously unrecognized high sulphidation alteration system characterized by a large-scale clay alteration, quartz-alunite alteration, massive silica and zones of stockwork veining. Within the broader alteration system, silver mineralization is hosted within massive silica structures that are associated with quartz-alunite alteration along a 500-meter zone (Figures 3 & 4). Rock grab sample highlights include the following silver values: 981 g/t, 72.1 g/t, 64.4 g/t, 40.6 g/t, 26.6 g/t and 20.5 g/t."
