Dear Valued Readers,
Market Trend News took a fairly long hiatus from publishing our newsletter due to the terrible junior markets and one of our team recovering from a car accident. We would like to welcome all our new subscribers and if over the past year you have lost interest in stocks/investing, please use our one step unsubscribe at the bottom of our newsletter, it is instant and we don't want to offend anyone who doesn't want to participate. Over the next few months we plan on providing our readers with company profiles, stock investing tools, podcasts, investing/ speculating resources, and we will answer any stock/forex/trading question you would like to send us.  We are investors like you and more knowledge leads to hopefully better decisions.

The TSX Venture set its yearly high last January at 939.66 and is currently at 568. Not good performance. The TSX, Nasdaq, and Dow are all trading near lows with the Dow Jones Average fluctuating 500 to 800 points some days. With geo-political stress like the Brexit issue in the UK, France's protests, and the uncertainty of what Trump will do next, our world is in a state of constant turmoil. This year we saw many investors get sucked into the over-hyped BitCoin phenomena which resulted in BitCoin running up to ~$20,000 USD/coin then the crash down to its price now of $3550 USD per coin (and it may go lower). OIL (WTI) ran to almost $77USD/Barrel at the end of September, and then started its decline again, currently just under $52USD/barrel. Pot stocks were also a roller coaster, for example Aphria hit $24.75/share this year and now sits at $7.35.

So what is next? With all of this global chaos, investors often turn to gold. The gold chart is moving in the right direction and our new sponsor is focused on Gold and Copper in Mexico's famed Sierra Madre Gold Belt.
Our featured company is a Canadian based mineral resource company focused on the exploration and development of promising Gold and Copper projects in mining friendly jurisdictions of North America.
